Genny ruins the Raiders with a 12-4 win
Cats spread the wealth with nine different scorers
The West Genesee Wildcats made it three straight victories 0-0(3-0) with a 12-4 lopsided win over the Red Raiders of Fulton in a game that featured nine Cats getting into the goal scoring column.
Genny led 5-0 nothing at the end of the first quarter on goals by Matt Cassalia, Drew Dabrowski, Matt O'Connell and Devin Burgoon who netted two goals, the second coming as the horn sounded to end the quarter with an assist from Mike Conklin. Genny added three more goals to take a commanding 8-0 lead as Mike Conklin and Jake Bebee chipped in with a goal and Drew Dabrowski struck for his second of the contest.
Fulton finally found the range with their first goal of the game at the 1:50 mark leaving the Cats with an 8-1 lead at the half. The second half saw Messere clear his bench and both sides remained scoreless through the first seven minutes until Fulton's senior attackman Rob Seabury put a rebound shot past junior goalie Brian Cummings who made a great initial save to cut the lead to 8-2.

West Genesee increased their lead to 10-2 with goals from Andrew Sugar and a goal with 1:56 left from Jed Bebee to end the quarter. Genny and Fulton ended the final quarter with two goals apiece, the two Wildcat goals were scored by junior attackman Mike Solamon and junior midfielder Jeff Murphy to help pace the Cats to a 12-4 final.
