2002 West Genesee Wildcats Junior Varsity Lacrosse
The future of the varsity Wildcat team looks bright as the West Genny Junior Varsity boys closed out their 2002 season undefeated at 18-0 under Head Coach Tom Donahue and Assistant Coach Jim St. Croix. Look for many of this years players to return as the varsity stars of the future.

Beville Inducted Into Washington College Athletic HoF
Steve Beville, in his fifth year as head coach of men's lacrosse at the University of Vermont, will be inducted into the Washington College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 5th in Chestertown, Maryland.
Beville, a stand-out defenseman on West Genny's first State Championship team in 1981, enjoyed a stellar career at Washington College. He started every game for four years, and the team went 47-16 during his career.
He was a First Team All-American and National Defensive Player of the Year in Division III in 1984 and 1985. Beville was also co-MVP of the team in 1985 and was a two-time winner of the Joe Mclain Most Valuable Defensive Player Award. Washington College participated in three national championship games during Beville's career. After graduating from Washington College in 1985, was an assistant coach at his alma mater in 1986 and 1987, serving as defensive coordinator. He was also invited to try out for the U.S. National team in 1986 and 1990, and was selected as an alternate to the team in 1986.
In 1989, Beville began a successful head-coaching career at Division III Colorado College, where he became the school's all-time winningest coach by compiling a record of ) in 10 years. He also served on various national committees, including the Division III All-American Committee.
Since coming to UVM in 1999, Beville has guided the Cats to one America East playoff appearance. He serves on the Division I All-American Selection Committee and the NCAA Playoff Advisory Committee, and is a voter in the national Division I poll. He was also a member of the US National team Selection Committee in 1998 and 2002.
Also active in various lacrosse organizations, Beville was the coach of the South team in the prestigious North-South All-Star game in 1997, and served six years on the Division III All-American Selection Committee. He also served on the advisory committee of the Division III National Championships in 1997 and 1998.

Syracuse All-Star Lacrosse Camp

The Syracuse All-Star Lacrosse Camp not only will focus on the basic skills of lacrosse but we will also teach teamwork, setting goals and leadership.
Boys and girls in 3 age groupings; 8-12, 13-14, 15-17
Indoor and outdoor fields
Individual camper evalations
Special guests from the Syracuse University lacrosse team will attend
$175 per person (includes tee-shirt)
Must have lacrosse stick, gloves, elbow pads and helmet
